Chris’s background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from UC Berkeley equips him to spearhead MAIA’s technological development as CTO.

He graduated with Honors and as part of the EECS Honors Society. His academic journey is marked by a passion for teaching and building. He built interactive coding challenges thorough Berkeley’s EECS Honor Society (HKN), taught a semester-long course on meditation theory, and dove deep into the world of integrated circuits and systems-level programming through his degree track. He emerged with a nuanced comprehension of computing from the microprocessor to Artificial Intelligence and the skills to lead others with this information.

Chris’s deep background in technology fuels his ambition to create innovative tools within the renewable energy sector. Chris firmly believes in his responsibility to leverage our most powerful technology for societal advancement.
